I received a 1095-C form from my employer and I'm not sure what it's for. Is it required when filing taxes? What information does it contain and what should I do if the information on it looks incorrect? Who is required to receive this form?

IRS designates 1095-C as the employer's report on health insurance offer and coverage. Large employers (50+ full-time employees) send it to you and the IRS to report that health insurance was offered to you during the year. Usually, a taxpayer shouldn't file it with the returnjust check it for correctness and keep it with other tax records.
