Can someone explain “what is csr in business”? I see this term often in company policies and reports. Is it related to social responsibility or something else? Looking for a simple explanation and examples.

CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in business means a company taking responsibility for its impact on society and the environment, not just focusing on profits. This can include things like reducing pollution, treating employees fairly, supporting local communities, or donating to social causes. I’ve noticed many companies now highlight CSR because customers actually care about how ethical a brand is, not just what it sells.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in business refers to companies taking responsibility for social, environmental, and ethical impacts by supporting sustainability, community development, fair practices, and reducing harm while operating profitably.
