Hi everyone, I often see the term “LWD” used in resignation and HR documents, but I’m not fully sure what it means. Can someone explain what LWD stands for and how it is used in a job context? I’d also like to understand its importance during the resignation or exit process. Any simple explanation would be really helpful.

LWD is an abbreviation used to mean the Last Working Day. It is the last day that an employee works in an organization before his or her resignation or termination takes effect.
