I’m trying to understand what are full time job hours in general. Is there a standard number of hours or does it vary by company? Does it differ by country or industry?

Generally it's around 35 to 40 hours a week, 40 being the standard in most places, though it can vary a bit by company or country, some industries run a bit differently.

The number of hours of a full-time job is normally 35-40 hours per week, which also depends on the country and employer. This translates to working approximately 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, in most work places. Certain employers can have minor differences but the most prevalent standard is 40 hours per week.

"Hey everyone, I'm not aware of any specific industry standards for full-time hours, but it really depends on the company and location. Generally, most full-time roles are considered to be around 35-40 hours a week, but some industries like healthcare or hospitality might be more variable. Would love to hear if others have experience or insights on this!"

A full-time job typically means working around 35 to 40 hours per week, though the exact number can vary by employer and country. In many companies, full-time employees work about 8 hours a day for five days a week and may receive benefits like health insurance, paid leave, and retirement plans. Some businesses may consider 30+ hours as full-time.
