RTO — Return to Office — has become one of the most talked-about workplace topics, and we're navigating our own policy update right now. It refers to a company's directive for employees to resume working from a physical office, either fully or on a hybrid schedule. Many employees who shifted to remote work are resisting the change. How has your organization communicated and enforced its RTO policy while keeping morale intact?

RTO means return to office—policies requiring employees to work on-site. Companies handle pushback by offering hybrid schedules, flexibility, incentives, and clear communication to balance productivity, culture, and employee preferences.
