I recently saw the term RH leave in a leave policy document. What does RH stand for, and how is this leave different from casual leave or sick leave? Please explain clearly.

RH stands for Restricted Holiday, it's basically a list of optional holidays that the government or company provides and you can choose a limited number from that list to take off, unlike regular public holidays it's not fixed for everyone.

“RH leave” usually stands for Restricted Holiday leave. It allows employees to choose a holiday from a company-approved list based on their personal, cultural, or religious preferences.

RH Leave stands for Restricted Holiday Leave. It is a type of optional leave provided by organizations or government offices, allowing employees to take a holiday on select festivals or occasions that are not compulsory public holidays, based on personal choice and approval.

Also referred to as an "optional" or "discretionary" holiday, it is a type of paid leave that is not mandatory. Unlike standard public or gazetted holidays, RHs allow employees to take time off on culturally, religiously, or personally significant days that are not on the official company holiday calendar.

The full form of RH leave is Restricted Holiday leave. It is a type of leave where employees can choose to take time off on certain optional holidays based on personal preference, culture, or religion.
