I recently joined a company and my status shows on probation. Can someone explain on probation rules, probation period duration, and confirmation process after on probation status?

On probation means a new employee is under a trial period where the employer evaluates performance, behavior, skills, and suitability before confirming permanent employment within the organization.

On probation means a trial period for new employees where their performance, behavior, and suitability are evaluated. During this time, employment can be confirmed or terminated based on assessment of skills, attendance, and overall job performance by the employer only.

Being "on probation" means you are in an initial trial period at a new job, typically lasting 3 to 6 months. It allows employers to evaluate your skills and cultural fit, while giving you time to decide if the role is a good match.

“On probation” refers to a new employee in the probationary period following his or her hire. The employer observes the employee's performance, behavior, attendance, and skills during this period. It also provides the employee with the opportunity to learn about the role and company environment before joining as a full-time employee.
